Last month we celebrated ICESat-2’s anniversary with 5 years of orbit! As a part of @NASA’s Earth Observing System, the satellite works to measure ice sheet elevation and sea ice thickness, as well as land topography, vegetation characteristics, and clouds.
INNOVIM has been supporting ground system elements in this endeavor within the Hydrosphere, Biosphere, and Geophysics Support Services (HBG) contract, including the Instrument Support Facility, the Science Compute Facility, and the Science Investigator-led Processing System.
