INNOVIM Participates in UW eScience ICESat-2 Hackweek

At the end of August, INNOVIM’s Owen Littlejohns joined researchers, developers, and data scientists at the UW eScience ICESat-2 Hackweek in Seattle. This collaborative event brought together the science and technology community to advance open-source software and cloud-based tools supporting NASA’s ICESat-2 mission.

Throughout the week, participants worked with leading tools such as earthaccess, icepyx, Cryocloud, and SlideRule, exploring ways to enhance performance, improve data accessibility, and enable more efficient cloud-native workflows.

Owen’s contributions reflect INNOVIM’s commitment to advancing Earth science, remote sensing, and mission support through collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

Way to go, Owen, for representing INNOVIM and contributing to the success of this important initiative!
