INNOVIM is proud to recognize two exceptional team members, Gail Griffin and Liz Purvis, for their outstanding contributions and continued demonstration of INNOVIM Excellence. In March, both employees received customer kudos in recognition of the impact they make every day in support of critical NOAA missions.
Gail Griffin, a Budget Analyst supporting the Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO), was recognized as Team Member of the Month for the Resource Management Division for stepping up during a critical transition period for the NOAA Search and Rescue Satellite Aided Tracking System program. While navigating complex interagency funding challenges, Gail expedited the release of late-arriving funds from the U.S. Coast Guard and helped ensure uninterrupted mission operations. Her ability to respond quickly under pressure, develop practical solutions, and collaborate effectively across agencies helped mitigate significant risk and support the continued success of this mission and several other critical efforts.
Liz Purvis, Executive Assistant and Administrative Support professional for the OSPO System Support Division, continues to be a driving force behind seamless coordination and operational effectiveness. From managing high-priority, time-sensitive actions across multiple branches to producing polished, compliant executive-level documentation, Liz consistently demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and organizational skill. Beyond her core responsibilities, she contributes to major projects, helps improve internal processes, and strengthens team culture through her leadership and commitment to morale-building initiatives.
