In May, the team delivered a highly successful demonstration of the new Business Intelligence System (BIS) to NASA Headquarters and EOSDIS Leadership. This milestone marks a significant step in supporting NASA’s Lakehouse Strategy, which aims to empower customers to prioritize and fully leverage the Lakehouse approach.
Despite evolving leadership priorities, the team rapidly developed a functional BIS prototype, demonstrating resilience, technical excellence, and a customer-focused approach.
NASA Deputy Program Manager of ESDIS, Justin Rice, recognized the collective efforts of the Platform Train and Global Metrics teams, with special praise for Data Analyst Han Mai. Han’s dedication, expertise, and passion were instrumental in bringing the project to life.
