INNOVIM Awarded Additional NOAA/NWS Southern Region IT Services Task Order

INNOVIM has been selected to provide IT services at NOAA/NWS Southern Region Headquarters (SRH) in Fort Worth, TX, further expanding the work which we will perform under our GSA IT Schedule 70. INNOVIM and its staff have been successfully supporting SRH for seven years under the original IT service support task order, and are thrilled to have not only won the re-compete for that work, but to have been awarded this additional task order.

NOAA’s Information Technology (IT) organizations oversee activities in IT security, information systems operations, and information systems development and modernization. Specialized technical expertise to support these activities is required in security certification and accreditation and continuous monitoring of national critical information systems, earned value and portfolio analysis of complex programs, and engineering support for data networks and telecommunications that span across the enterprise. The National Weather Service (NWS) Southern Region is focused on providing customers with quality, timely and cost efficient maintenance, modernization, technical, and logistics support. The region has 46 offices throughout 10 states in the southeast continental U.S.

Andrew Pirring, INNOVIM Program/Capture manager shares, “we are thankful for the exceptional work our current staff in the region have performed, in turn positioning us to be awarded additional responsibility. In this competitive market, customers have many options in choosing which contract vehicles and companies to entrust with their important work, and we are honored to have the opportunity to continue and expand our support of NWS Southern Region HQ.”
