INNOVIM has been awarded a task order to provide accountable property management and logistics services to NOAA’s National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS). Performance began September 21, 2026, under the NOAA ProTech 2.0 Satellite Domain IDIQ, with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods that could extend performance through September 2031. INNOVIM is the prime contractor.
NESDIS operates the satellite systems, ground infrastructure, and data centers behind the nation’s environmental intelligence. The accountable property supporting that mission spans headquarters offices, program centers, storage areas, server rooms, and field facilities nationwide.
Under this task order, INNOVIM manages that portfolio end to end, covering both day-to-day property operations and the annual wall-to-wall physical inventory. The team maintains custodial records, processes assets in the Sunflower Asset Management System, tracks excess and loaned property, and supports separation clearances, all in compliance with the Department of Commerce Personal Property Management Manual. Each year, INNOVIM locates and scans 100 percent of the master inventory list, resolves every discrepancy, and prepares the Annual Inventory Certification Report for the Property Accountability Officer.
Support reaches across NESDIS Headquarters and staff offices and its programs and centers, including the Center for Satellite Applications and Research, the National Centers for Environmental Information, the Office of Satellite and Product Operations, and the space weather and satellite observation offices. Primary performance is onsite in Silver Spring, Maryland, with periodic travel to NOAA facilities in Asheville, Boulder, Fairbanks, Wallops Island, Fairmont, and Stennis Space Center.
