INNOVIM has been selected to provide Scientific Support Services for the Office of Projects, Planning, and Analysis (OPPA) within the National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) office of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), as part of the ProTech Satellite IDIQ contract.

Through small-scale flight projects, domestic and international partnerships, and data exploitation initiatives, OPPA (see https://www.nesdis.noaa.gov/OPPA) implements evolutionary improvement to satellite systems and enables expansion of international space cooperation and improves space-based earth and solar observations capabilities to meet NOAA observation requirements. As part of this responsibility, the Office administers a comprehensive requirements identification and analysis process, and translates requirements for data, products, and services into flight projects, exploitation, and partnerships. Cindi Brown, INNOVIM’s President and COO, stated that “This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the next generation of our nation’s civil environmental observing system.”
