INNOVIM Now Supporting NOAA OPSTECH Radio Dissemination Systems

INNOVIM is pleased to report that it has won an additional contract under the NOAA National Weather Service OPSTECH program. The new work will fall under the Office of Operational Systems (OOS) Dissemination Systems Branch (W/OPS17), which maintains various dissemination systems that warn the US and international public at-large; specifically NOAA Weather Radio, NOAA Weather Wire Service, Emergency Managers Weather Information Network, and the International Satellite Communication System. W/OPS17 also monitors, maintains and on accession develops systems and equipment in support of the NOAA mission; protection of life and property.

The INNOVIM deliverable is to provide expert engineering analysis, solutions and consideration of radio network, systems and components. The task also includes providing a response to on-going, informative and supportive discussions and outreach with NWS headquarters and region staff, as well as public, state and county emergency managers, corporate partners, industry, and federal agencies concerning NWS radio broadcasts, networks, systems, and components as they relate to NWS dissemination systems.

Work on this contract begins Feb. 4, 2013.
