INNOVIM Chief Operating Officer Cindi Brown was elected to the Maryland Space Business Roundtable (MSBR) Board of Directors on September 8.  INNOVIM has been an active member of the MSBR and now can look forward to even greater contributions to this dynamic network of local space industries.

“Cindi is someone who cultivates communities in- and out-of the workplace setting,” says INNOVIM President Shahin Samadi. “She understands that to strengthen the future of the aerospace industry, we must build links among today’s aerospace companies and champion future generations of STEM workers and entrepreneurs. MSBR is the perfect forum to tackle both those challenges.”

Brown’s cultivation of small aerospace businesses, advocacy for WOSB legislation, and business development are an ideal combination of expertise to further MSBR’s mission. Her 20 years of leadership and strategic management of NASA, NOAA, and Air Force contractors have made Brown a powerhouse in the aerospace business community. Her tenure at INNOVIM has been accompanied by skyrocketing growth and her boundless energy is sure to make an impact at MSBR.

“As a Board member, I look forward to being a spokeswoman and advocate for our industry. I’m thrilled at the opportunity to contribute to the wonderful array of educational and advocacy programs MSBR supports,” says Brown.
