INNOVIM Takes on Integrated Dissemination Program

INNOVIM is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a Task Order to provide support for National Weather Service (NWS) Integrated Dissemination Program (IDP).  Under this Task Order, INNOVIM and its partner Skjei will provide the Integrated Dissemination Program (IDP) with Web engineering support services with focus on the IDP Web Services Protocol Project, meeting IDP Web Services Portal obligations to the FAA.   This service contributes to several NWS objectives providing Engineering Support for the NWS NextGen Web Services and furthers development of web applications that provide one-to-many data transfer without the need for any point-to-point communications.

INNOVIM will also support the GOES‑R Ground Readiness Program (GRP) and required infrastructure upgrades and service improvements that will enable efficient delivery of new data and information in the greater volumes and higher resolutions anticipated from new satellite platforms including the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite R series (GOES-R), the Suomi National Polar-Orbiting Partnership (S-NPP), and the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS).

This work builds upon INNOVIM’s core competencies in Science Systems Engineering, using high technology to create innovative big data and mobile computing solutions. Our engineers and scientists specialize in Earth Observation and Climate data, influencing instrument design, ironing out analytical processing and collection parameters, and determining how to make the data available to a way that makes it most useful for modeling and research endeavors.

This task order is a part of the NWS OPSTECH Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity contract for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Service. The work will be performed in Silver Spring, Maryland.
