INNOVIM is very proud to announce that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Climate Explorer has been nominated for a WEBBY award in the Best Visual Design – Function category.
INNOVIM staff contribute to this site that helps you explore maps and graphs of historical and projected climate trends in your local area. It also allows you to view data by topics to see how climate change will impact things you care about (how much more it will cost you to heat your house, for example). The WEBBY awards are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) — a 2000+ member judging body. The Academy is comprised of Executive Members — leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities— and Associate Members who are former Webby winners, nominees and other Internet professionals.
