New Work on NOAA Radar and Continuing EMRS Support

INNOVIM, a trusted NOAA provider, is pleased to announce that we have been awarded an OPSTECH task order for Radar Requirement Support to the National Weather Service (NWS) Analyze, Forecast and Support Office (AFSO). We will be providing Program Analyst and Subject Matter Expertise to collect field needs, provide expert analysis, and formulate functional requirements for current and future radar capabilities and surveillance systems. INNOVIM’s Program Analyst will participate in radar requirement exercises with federal partners including the Office of the Federal Coordinator for Meteorology (OFCM), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL).

INNOVIM also recently received a follow on award to support the NWS Engineering Management Reporting System (EMRS). For another next three years, we will continue to develop applications and guide users through NWS processes to collect data on the reliability and maintainability of weather surveillance systems. As we develop, operate, and support the EMRS system, we ensure NWS change requests, maintenance, and ongoing engineering activities are correctly scheduled and executed to keep our nation’s weather infrastructure running smoothly for years to come.
