INNOVIM Awarded OPSTECH Task Order for Developing and Managing National Weather Service AWIPS Engineering Drawings

INNOVIM will be providing Electro Mechanical Design and Drafting Engineering support to NOAA’s National Weather Service (NWS) Configuration Management for Operational Systems branch under a recently awarded OPTECH task order.  The work will be performed at NWS headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland.  Under this task order INNOVIM will be assisting NWS in documenting the configurations of the Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS) which will help NWS determine whether current baseline engineering drawings will be used as the starting point to prepare engineering drawings, Additionally, INNOVIM will assist in maintaining the supporting documentation for the Automated Surface Observing System (ASOS) and the Service Life Extension Program (SLEP).

This effort is one of more than thirty OPSTECH task orders under which INNOVIM supports the NWS.
