INNOVIM is pleased to announce that we have achieved CMMI Maturity Level 2.
Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a process improvement maturity model for the development of products and services. An appraisal at Maturity Level 2 indicates the organization is performing at a “managed” level. At this level, processes are instituted and support projects that: are planned and executed in accordance with policy; employ skilled people who have adequate resources to produce controlled outputs; involve relevant stakeholders; are monitored, controlled, and reviewed; and are evaluated for adherence to their process descriptions.
“INNOVIM is committed to delivering quality, repeatable processes for our customers,” says President & Chief Operating Officer Cindi Brown. “Renewing our CMMI Level 2 assessment is only the first step in our multi-year plan to validate INNOVIM’s rigorous quality procedures.”
Our practices were assessed through a Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI A) appraisal and found to satisfy all areas and goals at Maturity Level 2. The CMMI Institute approved the appraisal findings and our active Appraisal Disclosure Statement, which describes scope and results of the SCAMPI-A appraisal for CMMI-DEV, is recorded and published.
